So, the 'Canes won the Cup. I wish the Oilers had gotten it, but I had a feeling about Carolina. After the Oilers left the Wings in the mud, them getting the Cup would have been some justification. You know, 'Well, they topped the Wings and now have the Cup so they must be great'.

And now I read ESPN and it's all 'the Oilers power play is weak', bla bla bla. To the Oilers, at least you went to seven. You could have lost in four, five, six, but you went to seven. So, while there are things you can be better at, at least you went the distance. You took it all the way and, even though you lost, there you are. You made the entire journey.
