Here's a tip. When your new rice cooker [amazon.com] has a label on the top that says "Caution: This vent emits steam during operation and becomes very hot", don't put your hand over it while cooking rice to find out.

Also, amazon.com is a rip-off. I got mine at Fry's electronics for $90.

Becker read some of the explicit tales about sex, drugs and molestation inside the magazine for us that included, "...young girls in white socks..."

I got my Federal refund yesterday, and am comtemplating a purchase. I am thinking of picking up an MP3 player. More precisely, I am thinking of picking up an iPod. They are small enough, I like the controls, and they are just so dead sexy. Plus, I won't have to deal with cds anymore. But the price is a little bit steep, considering I would also have to buy a FireWire card.

So, it's either an iPod or Absinthe.

Ladies and gentlemen, Richard Saunders:

"My coworker immediately showed me with some glee and so now I know far more about the anatomy of donkey than I ever wanted to know.
Out of curiosity, I scanned the network drive. This is apparently not so uncommon among the sales and marketing folks. "

Having spent my time in network admin, I would like to let you know this is more common then you think. I weep for the future (and the present).

So, Charlie Kaufman ('Being John Malkovitch','Adaptation') has a new movie coming out this year, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind [imdb.com]. According to moviefone.com, it opens here March 19. Moviefone has a trailer, so I suggest it. I, for one, can't wait, even though it stars Jim Carrey.

Also, I forgot to mention that I have a new job. Accepted the offer last friday, and start in 2 weeks. It's Windows NT Admin, but it's not here and it's more money. Looks like I have to update my resume again.
Also, I got my taxes done on Sunday, and I'm getting less back then last year. I thought there was some sort of tax cut. I must have missed it because the size of my paycheck hasn't changed in 2 years.
