Ok, so I am thinking of a road trip in April to Tucson to see The Decemberists. April 5th, to be exact, and I am wondering if there are any Tempe/Phoenix/Etc people who want to go.

You're Ulysses!
by James Joyce
Most people are convinced that you don't make any sense, but compared to what else you could say, what you're saying now makes tons of sense. What people do understand about you is your vulgarity, which has convinced people that you are at once brilliant and repugnant. Meanwhile you are content to wander around aimlessly, taking in the sights and sounds of the city. What you see is vast, almost limitless, and brings you additional fame. When no one is looking, you dream of being a Greek folk hero.

Sometime I wonder just what goes through my cat's head. I must be something like this:
'He looks like he is working really hard and the support cell phone is twitching on his desk like a tijuana crack-whore. I'll jump on random parts of the desk and knock stuff over :)'

Related to the last entry, Rachel's Systems/Layers has to be one of the best albums I have ever purchased. I have looped it about a half-dozen times now and I keep hearing something new, but on the whole it is totally unobtrusive. It is a must-buy album.

Some recent musical purchases:
Rachel's Systems/Layers.
Totally excellent background music.
Pretty Girls Make Graves The New Romance.
Indie pop-punk. Heavy guitar, drum, screaming vocals. Excellent.
Broken Social Scene You Forgot it in People
Nice canadian indie rock. ( their website makes my browser all wonky. )
The Decemberists Her Majesty The Decemberists.
The dooce was listening to it, and now I know why. ( also, they are with the non-RIAA member label Kill Rock Stars )
