I wish you could adore
The way you did before
Now you're living through another year
Oh, the light you were
Will soon become a blur
As you're living through another year

Oh, what a waste of time it is
To indulge inside of bliss
Getting ready for another year like this

Another year to lie
Another year goes by

You're not sick, so you can't heal
But I wonder do you feel
The need to cry: 'I'm out of here'
Oh, your goal is safe
But is it all you crave
As you're living through another year

Oh, what a waste of time it is
To indulge inside of bliss
Getting ready for another year like this

Another year to lie
Another year goes by

Is it me who cannot see
The face of mediocrity
I try to smile you see
Your lightness darkens me
Filter all of your emotions.
Fake you're never low
Or face the one you fear
You're living through another year

Another year to lie
Another year goes by

Hmm.. So, what did you do for X-Mas eve this year?
Me? I stayed up late playing 'Knights of the Old Republic' (I finished Kashyyyyk), and drank beer. I actually got beer for X-Mas this year, so it seemed appropriate.
Of course, I will be going to work tomorrow. So, what will you be doing?

Quiting Christmas, or How I decided to stop celebrating a religious holiday I don't believe in with an orgy of shopping.

So, this year I finally quit christmas. I decided that since I'm
a) Not a christian
b) Don't feel like sending random gifts to people I haven't seen in about 18 months

I decided that celebrating christmas is, for me, pretty stupid.Personally, if I was a christian, I would be pretty pissed at the secularization of a religious holiday. This has gone pretty smoothly for me so far, with the exception of some rather vitriolic emails from family members.

So, from 2004 on, I will no longer be celebrating christmas. If that makes me an ass, so be it.

Behold, the power of Buffy.

Three, or so, years ago, I downloaded a few episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer from Kazaa. Now, I sit here in possetion of all seven seasons of BtVS, and an album. Amiee Mann - Lost in Space. Two songs of her's were in the season seven episode, Sleeper. All eight of these things I never would have purchased without P2P applications.

Now, explain to me the bad part of tradeing songs or TV shows on the Internet.

PS. BTW, Buffy is a really great show, if you give it a chance.
