After much self-debating, I decided to pick up the new Robotech movie. After a careful viewing, I only have this to say:

Thank you Harmony Gold for rapeing my childhood and many of my teenage years.

This was a horrible movie. Don't even rent it.

I wish you could adore
The way you did before
Now you're living through another year
Oh, the light you were
Will soon become a blur
As you're living through another year

Oh, what a waste of time it is
To indulge inside of bliss
Getting ready for another year like this

Another year to lie
Another year goes by

You're not sick, so you can’t heal
But I wonder do you feel
The need to cry: 'I'm out of here'
Oh, your goal is safe
But is it all you crave
As you're living through another year

Oh, what a waste of time it is
To indulge inside of bliss
Getting ready for another year like this

Another year to lie
Another year goes by

Is it me who cannot see
The face of mediocrity
I try to smile you see
Your lightness darkens me
Filter all of your emotions.
Fake you’re never low
Or face the one you fear
You’re living through another year

Another year to lie
Another year goes by

December 24, 2006 :::

So, of the past 2 holiday seasons, 2 people who meant something to me died. Last season, my cat (companion of 14 years) died, quiet a blow. This year, a waitress of 6 years died. Seems stupid, but it's a hit. Someone I have seen pretty much every week for the last 6 years is dead. I knew nothing about her except her name and job, but she was familiar to me. Now, I'll never see her again. This season sucks...

WARNING!!! Cat post...

So, I just realized that I am coming up on the end of one year since Baby died. It's been a sucky year, and ok in a way. Baby had a presence that had to be noticed and respected. Baby was Baby. She was, in this bloggers opinion, a force of nature.

Still, without her, these other two have grown into there own. Kiki is more the lap cat then she was, and Heather is much more, I don't know, assertive then she was.

I love these cats, but I really miss Baby. These are my cats, Heather and Kiki, but Baby was MY cat. Baby knew me, and all my moods.

Here's to you, Baby. There will never be another cat like you...

I didn't get quite as drunk tonight as I had planned. The cute woman wasn't working at the Pasty place tonight (there were cute women, just not THE cute woman I was looking for). Birthdays suck.

So, I went to the dictionary to look up the meaning of ironic, and it all it said was "Your birthday is World Mental Health Day". 'nuff said...

Looks like some fucktard decided to steal the iPod out of the laptop bag in the back of my Jeep, rather then the entire bag itself. I hate people...

UPDATE: Looks like rather then steal it, some fucktard decided to wind it around the base of my chair at work,

I need to get out of this rut

At the place I usually eat dinner, Katie knows I drink Kronenberg, so that question never comes up (unless they are out). She knows I only have the one with dinner, so that question is out. Other then the ordering, the last time we actually talked was when she engaged me about the book I was reading (East of Eden), which she said she read a 'long time ago', which I put around my sophomore year of college (no check that. I was probably out of college by then). Sweet girl but very young.

Sometimes, being a regular kinda sucks...

Top 5 ways to...whatever

1) You are going to die: This isn't a question. Biological fact is you are going to die.
2) You aren't going to change the world. Well, maybe you will, but this isn't something you can live for. Change the small things you can, and these may lead to something more. Anyway, change the small things.
3) You are no more then the people who respect you. Respect, honest respect, is something to be valued. If you are respected by respectable people (actually people you honestly respect), then this is something to be proud of.
4) Do some work. Working for something you believe in is one of the most respectable things a man can do. Work hard, but believe in what you work for.
5) Don't die without loving someone. Loving someone is the hardest thing you will ever do, and also the most rewarding.
